Order Processing Times
Orders placed by 2PM EST Monday through Friday, are generally shipped the same day. Orders received after 2PM may be shipped the next business day.

Delays may occur if we are closed for major holidays, inclement weather conditions, natural disasters, or other unforeseen conditions. We are unable to ship on national holidays that are observed by our couriers.

Delivery is generally by FedEx ground service.  You will be provided with a tracking number.

Please consider having your order delivered to your office.   You may not want to leave food orders on your front step all day and be subject to the elements or animals or theft.

Shipping Fees and Policies
Shipping Method
Items are shipped to contiguous US states by our choice of Fedex Ground. We reserve the right to choose an alternate courier, or in some instances, USPS Priority Mail.

Items being shipped to Alaska or Hawaii are shipped Priority Mail via USPS.

Shipping Locations
We DO ship to physical addresses in the contiguous US states, plus Alaska and Hawaii.

At this time, we do NOT ship to US territories, PO Boxes, APO/FPO addresses, or internationally.

In the rare instance of another restriction, we will notify you and credit you appropriately.

For orders up to $75.00 pay $9.95
Orders $75.01 and over pay $13.95

Lime-Green Policy
The very nature of our business prevents us from being truly "green".  We're importing food from around the globe, wrapping it in protective packaging such as bubble wrap and Styrofoam peanuts, and delivering it to you in a gas guzzling truck.

Still, we're doing what we can to offset our carbon footprint. Our printers are stocked with 100% post consumer recycled paper.  We light our facility with as few volts as possible.  We purchase carbon offsets to equal our electricity expenditure.  We even car pool to work.

Delicate items may require Styrofoam peanuts and bubble wrap to reach you intact, but we use newly recycled paper for wrapping and packing filler when possible.  When peanuts are necessary, we choose recycled and reclaimed peanuts.  Bubble wrap is usually new, but if we receive a shipment in bubble wrap then we'd rather reuse it than send it to a landfill.

We don't use cornstarch based biodegradable peanuts because we're packing food. Cornstarch peanuts attract critters in all shapes and sizes. They also dissolve instantly so if anything in your box leaks or if it sits in the rain, then you'll end up with a box of goo.

We're offering you the chance to help us keep waste to a minimum by selecting to accept your order with reused packaging such as boxes and bubble wrap.  Instead of receiving a shiny new brown corrugated box, you might receive your order in a box that originally held a case of balsamic vinegar from Italy.   Instead of new bubble wrap from the factory, we might wrap your items in the same bubble wrap that padded our glassware.  We don't do this automatically because some people just don't want it.  If you choose this option, we assure you that we will use carefully inspected clean and sturdy packaging.  Getting our products to you safe and sound is still our first priority.  Since this is a popular option, we may be out of reusable packaging when you place you order and you may receive new packaging anyway.

We can't be truly green, but we can strive for another shade of green - lime. To select reused and recycled packaging, choose the "Lime" packaging option during checkout.

Please recycle and reuse all of your packaging when finished. Those fancy bottles that once held barbecue sauce from Australia would be perfect for your homemade salad dressing. Glass is always recyclable with your local facility. Cardboard boxes and paper wrappings are also always accepted for recycling. Check your plastic packaging, most if it is safe to recycle as well.  Before you toss those peanuts and bubble wrap in to the trash bin, see if you can find a local store or peanut collection service.  Almost everything you receive in a box from Fresh Approach has the potential for reuse or recycling.

Live as green as possible, in whatever shade of green you can manage.

Returns and Refunds
Returns and Claims: Damaged Items
We carefully pack all items and inspect them prior to shipping.  Your shipment is insured for damages related to transit. Please open and inspect your order upon receipt.  If your items are received damaged, we must be notified within 3 business days. Please retain damaged item, packaging, and delivery box for possible inspection by FedEx.  We will notify FedEx on your behalf to file your claim.  To notify us, email us at service@freshapproachdietstore.com or call us at 423-391-7239.  

Returns - Food items:
We're sorry, but for health and safety concerns food items are not returnable unless they arrive damaged.  Please contact us as described under Damaged Items above.  Since food will not be returned to us, this policy is subject to abuse. If we feel this policy is being abused, we reserve the right to refuse credit.

Returns - Non Food Items:
If you are not satisfied with your non food item purchase, you may return it to us if you notify us within 7 days of receipt.

If you have a claim, please contact us at service@freshapproachdietstore.com within 7 days of receiving your order. Alternatively, you may call us at 423-391-7239.

Please have order number on hand if you phone us.

Unauthorized claims are not accepted and return shipping will not be refunded if you do not contact us in advance for instructions regarding your claim.

A refund of item cost, less a 10% restocking fee, will be issued for merchandise in new and unopened condition returned with its original packaging and accessories. Shipping costs including return shipping are non-refundable.

Once we receive and process the returned items, we will notify you via email regarding your refund. Refunds can only be issued to the method of payment used for purchase.

Out of Stock Policy
It is our goal that our inventory method will notify you of out of stock items when you visit our website, and therefore, out of stock items will not be ordered. In the rare event that an item is inadvertently out of stock at the time you order, we will contact you for how to handle your order prior to shipment. If we are unable to contact you within 24 hours, your shipment will be processed separate from the out of stock item. Products out of stock at time of delivery are not back ordered.

Sales Tax

Our warehouse is located in Tennessee. All orders shipped to TN will require state sales tax be added in the amount of 7.75% for food items, and 9.25% for non food items and shipping. Sales tax will not be added to any order shipped to states other than Tennessee.


Privacy Policy
Our privacy policy lets consumers know how we collect and use the personal information you provide to us.  We respect your privacy and we want your shopping experience to be as pleasant as possible.  We want to earn your trust and ensure a long lasting relationship.

We take the protection of your personal information seriously and use industry-standard encryption technologies when transferring and receiving consumer data exchanged with our site.

For each visitor to our Web page, our Web server automatically recognizes only the consumer's domain name (ISP), but not the e-mail address.

We collect aggregate information on what pages consumers access or visit, but no information on consumers who browse our Web page. The information we collect is used for internal review and is then discarded, used to improve the content of our Web page, not shared with other organizations for commercial purposes.

With respect to cookies: We use cookies to store visitors preferences, record session information, such as items that consumers add to their shopping cart.

We collect your email address when you place an order with the sole purpose of communicating about that order.

We may offer an opt-in email newsletter. If you subscribe to the newsletter, you will be able to opt-out at any time.

If you supply us with your postal address on-line you will only receive the information for which you provided us your address.

Persons who supply us with their telephone numbers on-line will only receive telephone contact from us with information regarding orders they have placed on-line.  We will never contact you for any other reason, and we will never share your contact information with third parties.

With respect to security: We have appropriate security measures in place in our physical facilities to protect against the loss, misuse or alteration of information that we have collected from you at our site.
